BHF Raffle Terms and Conditions

Raffle proceeds & chances of winning

In 2020, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 15,053 in our raffles.

In 2020 our total lottery & raffle proceeds were: £3,531,878. 52.60% was spent on promoting and running our lottery & raffles, 7.75% was spent on prizes and 39.64% was spent on the work of BHF, helping to fund our vital research into heart & circulatory diseases.

60 Years Young Raffle (Summer 2021)

Closing date: 7 August 2021, Draw date: 13 August 2021

Terms and Conditions and Prizes: Participation in this raffle costs £1 per raffle ticket. There are no restrictions to the number of entries one person can make. Payment for participation in the raffle can be made by cheque payable to the BHF, debit card or cash. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

The BHF cannot accept CAF payments for raffle tickets and all CAF payments will be treated as donations.

The BHF Raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain and Northern Ireland only (this excludes Isle of Man and Channel Islands) except agencies and other companies having any connection with the production of the raffle, as well as relatives of such persons. Employees of the BHF, and members of their households, are ineligible to enter this raffle. Any tickets bought in the name of the BHF employees or members of their households will be rejected from the draw and considered as donations to the BHF.

The next draw is as follows:

60 Years Young Raffle (Summer 2021) prizes: 1st prize: £10,000 cash. 2nd prize: £5,000 cash. 3rd prize: £1,000 cash. 4th prize: £500 x 5. 5th prize: £100 x 10. Except where stated, there are no alternatives to any prize, and no interest will be payable. Models of prizes may vary from those shown.

Fast reply draw: replies received before 10 July 2021 will be entered into an extra draw to win one of 10 £60 John Lewis & Partners gift cards.

Scratchcard draw: qualifying scratch cards received by 7 August 2021 will be entered into an extra draw to win one of 60 prizes of £60.

Online response draw: all responses received through raffle.bhf.org.uk before 7 August 2021 will be entered into an extra draw to win a hamper.

Prizes shown are for illustrative purposes only. Actual make/models may vary dependent on availability. Not for sale to or by anyone under 18 years of age. Any money received after the closing date will be used to help fund the BHF's life-saving work. Winners' names, photos and comments may be used to promote future draws.

The closing date of the 60 Years Young Raffle (Summer 2021) is 7 August 2021. The first prize-winner will be the first entry randomly selected in an independently supervised draw on 13 August 2021.

The BHF accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payment lost, delayed, or damaged in the post and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The BHF accepts no responsibility if chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.

Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than 3 weeks after the draw date. A list of the top 5 winners will also be published on the BHF website within 3 weeks of the draw date. Please contact our Customer Care Team for the full winners list. Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase. Where the BHF is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following the BHF's first attempt to notify the prize-winner, the BHF may apply the prize as it sees fit, including by re-offering the prize in future raffles. The BHF reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. The result of the Raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
